Pretty, but didn't survive the trip Dec 27, 2011

I originally bought this to give to my girlfriend for christmas, but when it arrived (in a glass jar, which was novel) it had clearly been bent by it's travels and the fact that I could easily bend it sort of back into shape told me that this watch wouldn't survive being worn day-to-day. I returned it and Amazon was swift in getting me a refund. It's a really nice looking piece, but I wouldn't recommend it as a watch, but as a jewelry piece.

The picture looked lovely and the title said Mother of Pearl Watch. So I thought the two oval shapes on both sides of the watch face were mother of pearl (or at least look like it, but it is just silver. The face background of the watch is slightly pink with a shimmer. I personally didn't like that. Lovely watch, but not what I thought it would be.
